Operation Management And Development Agreement
The Key Infrastructure Development Group (KID) was created for infrastructure development at various airports operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) through private public participation. The KID Group was tasked with supporting the Ministry of Civil Aviation in selecting private joint venture partners for the development, operation and management of selected airports operated by AAL, based on the Indian government`s decision. The KID Group also assisted the Ministry of Civil Aviation in finalizing various transaction documents for the implementation of Greenfield Airport projects in Devanahalli, near Bengaluru and Shamshabad, near Hyderabad, as well as in the restructuring and modernization of Delhi and Mumbai airports by the Private Partnership public. Subsequently, private participants led by the GMR Group were welcomed into DIAL and private participants were admitted under the direction of GVK Infrastructure Limited as shareholders of DIAL and MIAL and two separate shareholder agreements. In addition to OMDA, DIAL and MIAL have also concluded land-lease agreements and CNS-ATM agreements with AAI and State Support Agreement with the Government of India and the State Government Support Agreement with the respective governments. Greenfield Airports in Devanahalli and Shamshabad: Devanahalli airports near Bengali and Shamshabad near Hyderabad are greenfield airport projects sponsored by national governments through private public participation (PPP). These Greenfield airports were developed by ad hoc vehicles (Bengalore International Airport Limited for Devanahalli Airport and Hyderabad International Airport Limited for Shamshabad Airport), with both the private joint venture partner and AAI with the respective national governments Are. AAI each holds 13% equity in BIAL and HIAL. AAI has entered into a shareholder contract and a CNS-ATM agreement with BIAL and HIAL. Delhi International Airport Private Limited (DIAL) and Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (MIAL) companies under the Companies Act, were established in 1956 as 100% subsidiaries of the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
